49ers vs. Ravens: Live score, updates, highlights from Sunday’s game in Baltimore

We could be witnessing a Super Bowl preview in Baltimore on Sunday.

It’s back to the future in Week 13. The last time the 49ers and Ravens met, it resulted in a fairly entertaining, 34-31 victory for Baltimore in Super Bowl 47. The Harbaugh brothers were at the helm of the 49ers and Ravens then, but with Jim now at Michigan to lose to Ohio State every year, brother John is still at the top in Baltimore.

That’s not the only change, though, as MVP candidate Lamar Jackson has transformed the Ravens offense to one of the most potent in the NFL. In just his second year as signal-caller for the Ravens, the 22-year-old leads the NFL in touchdown passes (24) and has completed 66.9 percent of his passes on the season, turning the ball over just five times. By the way, he also has six rushing touchdowns on the year, giving the Ravens offense 30 TDs overall.

The quarterback on the opposite sideline has given the Niners stability at the position. Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown for 20 touchdowns on the season to 10 interceptions, both career highs. Jimmy GQ has also been under duress this season at a fair clip, with 22 sacks coming his way.

The 49ers, who look to be one of the NFC’s best teams, have the best record in the conference at 10-1, with their sole loss a Week 11 overtime heartbreaker to the Seahawks in San Francisco. Since then, San Fran put up 36 points and 37 points vs. the Cardinals and Packers, respectively, in wins.

Can Nick Bosa and the Niners defense slow down Jackson and the high-flying Ravens? Sporting News will be providing live updates, highlights and more from the 1 p.m. ET affair.
