College football signing day tracker 2020: Live updates, top recruits & classes for early signing period

College football’s 2020 early signing period begins Wednesday, entering its third year.

The signing period is the start of a 72-hour window in which college football prospects can end their recruitment early and sign with their preferred school, meaning they won’t have to wait until National Signing Day in February to decide their collegiate decisions.

Plenty of action will take place on the first day of the early signing period, which has effectively become the new National Signing Day. It should be an exciting day as the nation’s blue-chip talent announce where they’ll play football for the next 3-4 years of their life, and there’s sure to be plenty of drama that unfolds in the form of surprise signings, flipped commitments and the unveiling of long-withheld decisions.
