Watford captain Troy Deeney believes the integrity of the Premier League season is “already gone” and mentioned the coronavirus pandemic has spoiled Liverpool’s dominance.
Liverpool held a 25-point lead atop the Premier League desk when the marketing campaign was suspended in March as a consequence of COVID-19.
Whereas the Premier League is bidding to restart its season, Deeney has spoken about his well being issues amid the coronavirus pandemic.
And the 31-year-old ahead feels for Liverpool as a result of their dominant season has been spoiled.
“I consider that in relation to the integrity of this season anyway, it is already gone,” Deeney instructed CNN.
“I really feel sorry for Liverpool as a result of irrespective of the way it performs out, they should win the league. They should get the trophy.

Liverpool had gained 27 of 29 Premier League video games this season, with one draw and a loss to Deeney’s relegation-threatened Watford, who ended their ‘Invincibles’ bid.

However Deeney mentioned the integrity of this Premier League marketing campaign had been ruined.
“I do really feel sorry for Liverpool and their gamers and Jordan [Henderson, captain], however by way of integrity, there is not any approach you would say that this can be a viable competitors,” he mentioned.
