Extra protests and riots erupted all around the nation on Saturday in reference to the killing of George Floyd, and Pittsburgh Penguins CEO David Morehouse helped save a neighborhood cameraman from what may have been a catastrophe.
Morehouse, who serves because the president and CEO of the Penguins, witnessed a gaggle of protesters beating KDKA-TV cameraman Ian Smith exterior of PPG Paints Enviornment. In response to Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh-Submit Gazette, Morehouse dragged Smith to security contained in the Penguins area so he may wait to be transported to a hospital.
Smith had been thrown to the bottom by protesters and had his digicam smashed to items. He tweeted a photograph of himself giving a thumbs-up signal with a bloody thumb contained in the ambulance.
