· Fedora

The fedoras became popular in the 20th century, within the women’s fashion. In the 1920’s the fedora hats became a man’s wear. These types are designed using soft felt and feature a lengthwise-crease down the crown. At the front, the hats are pitched both sides, while the brim runs complete around. The fedora hats are often marked using a hat band.

· Stetson

Commonly referred to as the cowboy hat, Stetson hats are an important accessory for cowboys. These are made out of a variety of materials including straw, leather or felt. They appear tall with a flat brim and rounded crown. A rolled brim and creased crown are popular modifications often made to suit a particular style. Sometimes strings and bands are attached.

· Bowler

The bowler hats were designed originally to provide protection to the heads of gamekeepers from low hanging branches. The hat was intended to remain on the head of the wearer while riding on the horseback. Therefore, the bowler hats are low-crowned and close-fitting. They are a hybrid of the flat cap and top hat.

· Carver hat

Carver hats are not designed sorely for hunters. Regardless of your profession, carvers are recommended highly. They offer an excellent cover during the cold, by keeping the head warm.
