There aren’t many things in football that are better than watching a Fat Guy touchdown. The Buffalo Bills gave us one on Saturday.
Dion Dawkins caught a one-yard touchdown pass with one second before halftime in the Bills’ game against the New England Patriots on a tackle-eligible play. Take a look at the video:
The Bills took a major risk on the play, and it paid off. They only had six seconds left in the half on 2nd-and-goal and ran a play, risking that time would run out and they would miss a chance for a field goal if they did not score. But they ran a perfect fake from a jumbo set, and Dawkins caught it.
The Bills were able to tie the game at 10 at halftime thanks to that TD.
